Community & Care Facility Programming
The Mobile Bear Factory also offers thoughtfully guided experiences for nursing homes, assisted living communities, and adult day programs. These sessions are paced gently and focus on creativity, connection, and meaningful keepsakes in a supportive environment.
Programming is structured for group participation and tailored to the needs of each facility.

Private Parties
Private packages begin at $375, including up to 8 participants. Additional children: $30 per participant
Schools and Community events have a different pricing structure, minimum 15 participants.
Travel: $25 within 5 miles of 60619, $1 per additional mile
Advance booking of at least 2 weeks is recommended. Requests made less than 7 days is subject to a rush fee.

Each participant receives:

Private events also include an adoption ceremony and personalized birth certificates.
What is the difference between private parties and school/community events?
Private parties are designed for smaller groups and include a personalized adoption ceremony and birthday-child spotlight.
School and community events are structured for larger groups with a streamlined format and do not include individual adoption ceremonies.
Is a retainer required to book?
Yes. Private parties require a $100 non-refundable retainer to secure your date.
School and community events are booked via invoice, with payment terms discussed after the request is reviewed.
How many children are included in a private party?
Private party packages include up to 8 children. Additional children may be added for $30 per child, subject to availability.
Is travel included in the price?
Travel is $25 within 5 miles of ZIP code 60619, with $1 per additional mile.
Do you need electricity or special equipment?
No electricity is required. All bear stuffing is done by hand, and Malea’s Closet provides all materials and supplies.
Can I choose the bear size?
At this time, all Mobile Bear Factory experiences use a standard 16” teddy bear to ensure consistency and quality.
Can bear shirts be customized?
YES! Shirts can be customized for an additional $3 with a simple design "Dan's 3rd Birthday". A picture can be added at an additional cost. Costs are per shirt.
What happens if fewer children attend than expected?
Minimum pricing applies regardless of attendance. Materials and staffing are prepared based on the confirmed headcount.
How far in advance should I book?
At least 14 days is recommended for bookings. Less than 7 days will incur a rush fee
How do I book the Mobile Bear Factory?
Simply select the experience that best fits your event and submit the appropriate booking request form. You will be contacted within 24–48 hours with availability and next steps.
